- Moon - wasn't as clever or atmospheric as I'd expected, in fact it was a bit dull, but then I did watch it on a plane

- Inglourious Basterds - some great tense scenes, but overall unsatisfying. A melee of styles that didn't mesh together

Star Trek - surprisingly good since I'm not a fan, or maybe because. Good to see not much sentimentality or icky message

Taken - very silly film was trying to take it seriously because of Liam Neeson, but works better if you think of it as Van Damme
